Jessica Loves: Ecojot Eco-Friendly Recycled Paper Journals

ecojot notebook
As moms, we end up taking a lot of notes, whether it’s calendar reminders, recipes, tracking kids’ schedules, shopping lists (or the occasional impromptu love note!). I always love to have a nice-looking notebook handy at the office and at home where I can jot down thoughts on the go.

But I am also fanatical about reusing paper. It feels wrong to throw a good piece of virgin paper into the trash without using it up completely. That means that at work we use both sides of a sheet of paper and trim junk mail into note-sized strips to jot down quick notes.

It’s part of the reason I can feel so good about using Ecojot Earth-friendly journals. It’s clear that the brand, run by brother/sister team Mark and Carolyn Gavin, isn’t just capitalizing on the green movement as a trend. Everything that goes into their products is completely built around sustainability and their strong passion for philanthropy (Ecojot donates products to children in need around the world).

Their spiral-bound journals (and other stationery products) are made from 100% post consumer recycled paper and vegetable inks, which deserves a big bravo! But what I really love are their cute and surprising cover designs. These are far from boring books. Ecojet offers an enormous variety of fun covers that span every style from whimsical to chic to hipster.

And at just $5-$17 per notebook, I like to stock up on a few at a time, since you never know when inspiration may strike.
